Synchro Coaches

FST is excited to welcome back Synchro Coaches, Julia, Elaine, and Jane!

Julia Grandon

My name is Julia Grandon. I have been a member of FS&T for about 18 years, my family have been members since 2002. I was a part of the FS&T synchro team for 10 years, and did USA club synchro for three years, competing at the junior Olympic level. My favorite synchro memory was the ”Welcome to the Jungle” show opening number with Elaine.  I have been a coach for the team the last two summers. I am graduating from Revere High School this May, and am attending BGSU this coming fall. For fun, I enjoy reading, creating art, following F1, and of course swimming. Looking forward to a great season.

Elaine Barr

Hi! I’m Elaine and this will be my 3rd year coaching synchronized swimming at FS&T. I’ve been doing synchro for 11 years, since my family joined FS&T. I am graduating from Firestone High School this year and will attend The Ohio State University in the fall. I also play softball, swim, and lifeguard! My favorite synchro number I’ve ever done is Fernando, with my best friends and sister!

Jane Barr

I’m Jane Barr and I just finished up my sophomore year at Firestone High School. I’ve been a member of Fairlawn Swim & Tennis for 10 years. This is my first year coaching synchro but I’ve been performing in the synchro show at FS&T since I was 5 years old. I am a member of the Firestone swim team, softball team as well as the synchro club at Firestone. My favorite synchro memory is spending time with my sister and friends perfecting our synchro moves in the pool all summer.
